Optimal, on behalf of a newly established boutique hotel in Amorgos is seeking a Waiter/Waitress A for the 2026 season.
Scope of role
The successful candidate will contribute to delivering a high-standard guest experience, providing attentive and professional service while supporting the overall operation of the food & beverage department.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
- Present and explain the curated menu with confidence, enthusiasm, and product knowledge
- Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure service standards are consistently met
- Support bar operations when required, including the preparation and serving of beverages and cocktails
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure a smooth dining experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or bar service, ideally within a boutique hotel or upscale dining environment
- Warm, genuine communication style with strong guest-service orientation
- Good command of Greek and English; additional languages will be considered an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a small, close-knit team
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and a positive attitude
- Knowledge of basic bar operations and beverage preparation
