Role Overview
The Waiter delivers exceptional, personalized service to guests, ensuring a warm, professional, and memorable dining experience. The role requires attentive service, detailed product knowledge, and seamless collaboration with the F&B team. The Waiter anticipates guest needs and contributes to a refined dining atmosphere, upholding the highest standards of service excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Present and describe food and beverage menu items to guests in an engaging and knowledgeable manner.
- Greet guests warmly, seat them promptly, and ensure consistent, attentive service throughout the dining experience.
- Oversee table setup, maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, and uphold high service standards.
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of all orders.
- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints efficiently and professionally, ensuring swift resolution.
- Monitor inventory of dining supplies and beverages, maintain stock levels, and contribute to minimizing waste.
- Promote and upsell food, beverages, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Assist with service across other hotel outlets, events, and in-room dining operations as required.
