You are responsible for:
- Perform
regular inspections of industrial equipment, production areas, and
infrastructure to ensure alignment with internal and legal safety
standards
- Identify
potential hazards and non-conformities, and propose targeted prevention
and mitigation strategies
- Monitor
daily operations and enforce strict adherence to Health & Safety
procedures on the production floor
- Ensure
proper selection, availability, and usage of Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) by all staff
- Conduct
training sessions and awareness programs on Health & Safety topics
tailored to industrial environments
- Investigate
accidents and near-misses, perform root cause analysis, and implement
corrective and preventive actions
- Assess
and continuously improve the effectiveness of risk control measures
- Develop,
update, and maintain comprehensive Occupational Risk Assessments
- Input
and manage H&S data through the company’s digital systems and
platforms
- Track
and analyze Health & Safety KPIs, generating reports and insights for
management
- Collaborate
with the Occupational Physician on risk identification and health issue
prevention strategies for industrial personnel
- Actively
support the implementation and ongoing management of the ISO 45001 Health
& Safety Management System in the industrial setting
Your Education & Qualifications are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering,
Occupational Health & Safety, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional
experience in a Health & Safety role within an industrial or manufacturing
environment
- Solid understanding of Greek and EU
Health & Safety legislation and ISO 45001 standards.
- Health & Safety certification or
license (e.g., Safety Technician/Engineer certification) will be considered a
strong asset
