About the Role:

AK Aviation Support Services is hiring In-Flight Crew Coordinators for the upcoming Firefighting Season. This role supports aerial firefighting operations onboard fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, working closely with pilots, engineers, and ground operations teams to ensure safe, efficient, and well-coordinated missions.

This position is ideal for professionals with strong aviation coordination, flight operations, and multilingual communication skills who thrive in high-pressure environments and are motivated to contribute to public safety and emergency response aviation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, filter, and relay operational flight information to pilots to support safe and efficient aircraft operations
• Coordinate mission activities with onboard flight crew and ground operations teams
• Act as a communication liaison, verbally conveying requested information between Greek and English
• Support customer and stakeholder communication by providing clear and timely responses
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, aviation regulations, and safety standards
• Report daily flight activity and standby status using company-approved digital applications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Greek language proficiency (mandatory for operational communication)
• Professional English proficiency
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in time-critical operations
• Team-oriented mindset with initiative-taking ability
• Proactive, punctual, and highly organized
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
• Flexibility to meet operational demands
• Aviation experience is an advantage
• ATPL / CPL / PPL licenses considered an asset
• Willingness to operate onboard fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft
