Alicia Bots develops advanced underwater robotic solutions for hull inspection, hull cleaning, and vessel performance optimization. As we continue to expand internationally, we are looking for a motivated Service Engineer & Account Manager to join our team.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the deployment, maintenance, and operation of our robotic systems while serving as a key contact for assigned customers.
The role involves frequent international travel, onboard vessel attendances, crew training, technical support, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of robotic systems.
- Attend vessels worldwide to support deployments, inspections, and demonstrations.
- Train vessel crews on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Provide technical support to customers and ship staff.
- Manage customer relationships and support account development.
- Prepare service reports and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Preferred
- Maritime industry experience.
- Experience with robotics, automation systems, or ROVs.
- Experience in customer-facing or account management roles.
