Role Profile
Under the supervision of the Commercial Director/ Chief Operation Officer, the role holder will lead and oversee our client’s construction operations. The role involves the overall responsibility for the technical execution of multiple projects, including hotels, industrial facilities, office buildings, and other commercial developments.
The Technical Director will manage and coordinate multiple project teams, ensuring that all projects are delivered in accordance with technical standards, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Overall supervision of the company’s technical operations and active construction projects
- Leadership, coordination, and performance management of project teams (Project Managers, Site Engineers, Architects, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual obligations
- Review and approve technical solutions, construction methodologies, and critical change orders
- Support tendering and pre-construction activities from a technical perspective
- Identify and mitigate technical and construction-related risks
- Provide technical guidance and resolve complex construction issues
- Collaborate with Commercial Director/COO on resource planning and company growth strategy
- Establish, implement, and monitor technical procedures, standards, and best practices
- Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
