Tax & Accounting Specialist

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of a client within a leading multinational telecommunications company, is seeking a Tax & Accounting Specialist to join the finance team in Athens.
Job Location: Athens, Greece
The Tax & Accounting Specialist provides essential support within the Finance Department, contributing to tax compliance, accounting operations, and financial reporting processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handle ongoing & future tax digitalization projects (myData, e-Delivery note, etc.).
- Support in the preparation of tax returns & Financial Statements.
- Participate in accounting and tax projects.
- Engage in tax reporting processes.
- Support month/year-end closing process.
- Support with external audits.
- Support business with tax related day-to-day queries.
- Stay up to date with tax & business changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Economics, or Accounting & Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge & practical experience in Greek Taxation.
- IFRS knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Tech savvy/strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent command of the English language & strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Sense of ownership and commitment to deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
