Job Overview
The Assistant Accountant supports the Finance Department in the daily accounting and financial operations of Aeternal Hospitality & Development. The role assists in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations.
Reporting Line
The Assistant Accountant reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the accounting team, external accountants, auditors, and other internal departments.
Key responsibilities
Support the daily accounting operations of the company
Process and record invoices, payments, and expense documentation
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable monitoring
Maintain organized accounting files and financial records
Assist in bank reconciliations and financial reporting processes
Prepare supporting documentation for audits and tax filings
Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Department
Handling confidential financial information
Supporting multiple financial processes simultaneously
Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in financial documentation
