About the Role

IT Helpdesk Support Specialist / System Administrator

As an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist, you will be part of the Technology & IT Department, supporting the daily IT operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the company’s infrastructure.

This is a hands-on role combining end-user support with active involvement in maintaining and improving IT systems and processes. The position reports to the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to internal users (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner
  • Support Windows 10/11 environment and Microsoft 365 services (accounts, Teams, mailboxes, groups)
  • Manage Active Directory (user creation, access rights, group policies)
  • Monitor and support servers and IT infrastructure in collaboration with external partners
  • Configure and troubleshoot VPN connections, Remote Desktop, and basic firewall settings
  • Support business applications (e.g. Soft1) in cooperation with internal teams and vendors
  • Administer IP telephony systems and support related devices
  • Support CCTV, access control, and security systems
  • Participate in structured cabling and installation tasks when required
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, users, and processes
  • Track IT requests and contribute to the prioritization and resolution of issues
  • Actively contribute to the improvement and organization of IT operations


Required Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years of experience in IT Support or System Administration
  • Good knowledge of Windows environments (client & server)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Basic understanding of networking (IP, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Familiarity with backup processes and basic IT infrastructure concepts
  • Degree in IT or related field (AEI/TEI/IEK)
  • Good command of English (written & spoken)
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Soft1)
  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM tools)
  • Exposure to VoIP / IP telephony or CCTV systems
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g. PowerShell)
  • Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users
  • Organized and methodical in handling multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize issues based on impact
  • Team-oriented with willingness to collaborate
