PR Specialist (6230/PS/ESS/GR)
Responsibilities:
- Study the objectives, promotional policies and needs of organizations to develop public relations strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, products and services.
- Identify and develop newsworthy stories around products, innovation, leadership, partnerships and industry trends.
- Prepare or edit organizational publications for internal and external audiences.
- Respond to requests for information from the media or designate another appropriate spokesperson or information source.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with representatives of media, consumer, employee, and public interest groups.
- Arrange public appearances, lectures or exhibits to increase brand and product awareness and to promote goodwill.
- Prepare and deliver speeches to further public relations objectives.
- Confer with other managers to identify trends and key group interests and concerns or to provide advice
- Work with PR agencies to arrange PR campaigns in all types of media for products, services or the organization.
- Write reports on media coverage data.
- Plan and implement communication and influencer marketing programs to meet the business needs (product launches, sales promos etc) and maintain favorable public perceptions of the company's accomplishments and agenda.
