Head of HR

The Head of HR will have the following responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the HR activity
• Manage a team of 4 HR professionals responsible for recruitment, training, systems, and employee relations
• Partner with senior leadership and global HR to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the business's strategic goals
• Work closely with all managers to provide information and support for HR matters, including employee matters, performance, compensation, retention, talent development, career planning, and more
• Coach managers on performance management and employee development goals
• Manage and advise on employee representation.
• Document and develop local policies as needed. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
• Work closely with the global compensation team to analyze local trends in compensation and benefits.
• Work closely with the finance team to support various pay-related processes, such as salary, benefits, and pension
• Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes
• Oversee training and talent development
• Manage employee relations, including labor law compliance

The ideal candidate for the Head of HR role must possess the following:At least 10 years of proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive

• Experience managing employee relations in environments with formal representation structures, ensuring constructive engagement, procedural rigor, and alignment between business needs and workforce expectations
• Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
• In-depth understanding of the Greek labor market, including labor law, compensation, pension, and practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek
• PC literacy 
• People-oriented, able to build and manage relationships at all levels.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
• Strong leadership abilities to guide and support teams.
• Proficient in providing expert HR advice.
• Skilled in coaching managers and employees on performance and development.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proactive in addressing HR challenges.
