ICAP Executive Search, on behalf of its client, a Leading Greek Dairy Company, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team

Accounting Manager (6143/AMA/ESS/GR)

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all accounting and tax operations of the company, ensuring timely and accurate execution of daily, monthly, and annual activities.
• Ensure compliance with Greek GAAP and all tax and VAT regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Greek GAAP, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Supervise inventory controls across production and distribution.
• Coordinate year-end closing and liaise with external auditors
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing or food production environments strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Greek tax legislation.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership ability.
