Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization, based in the United States, providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ.

 

Job Summary

Coordinate all travel arrangements for national and expat staff working in Greece as well as IHQ (International Headquarters) and other visitors to include: air, sea, and ground transportation, scheduling and management of drivers; lodging, to include short- and long-term stays, apartment rentals, apartment maintenance, and hotel reservations. Manage the official Greece Admin email account and phone.

 

Key Responsibilities

§  Travel

o   Book flight and ferry reservations for all travel within Greece

o   Secure travel approval

o   Notify relevant parties of travel arrangements

o   Notify new arrivals to Greece of arrival instructions, internal SP map, company and personnel contact information, and specific itinerary.

o   Coordinate ground transport in Athens including coordinating airport pickups, meetings, and apartment transport.

 

§  Lodging

o   Schedule and reserve hotels for short-term visitors or staff

o   Manage apartment rentals of permanent, semi-permanent, and regional international staff staff

o   Liaise with apartment manager for repairs, cleaning schedules, changing linens, etc.

o   Coordinate key transfer for apartments

 

§  Financial Accounting

o   Submit receipt of all travel arrangements made with the purchase card

o   Provide appropriate approvals for each reservation, and signature for total purchases

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Education / Experience Needed

§  Degree and at least one year of experience in office administration.

 

Skills Required

§  Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task

§  Dependable

§  Strong sense of integrity

§  Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

§  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook

§  Fluency in spoken and written Greek and English.
