About the company:

 A Leading multinational manufacturing company is currently recruiting the role of Accountant Maternity Cover.  The primary activity of the company is the production of metal cans. It is the market leader in Greece serving the biggest International and Local Customers mainly in the food and chemical sector, through its two factory sites.

What you will do:

• Process supplier payments
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Perform supplier reconciliations
• Book Invoices (Purchase Orders Bookings, Services, etc.)
• Book accruals and pre-paid expenses and contribute to monthly closing
• G/L postings
• Create Investment Orders and Fixed Asset Bookings
• Run and check Depreciation
• Prepare ELSTAT and Intrastat statements
• Compliance with MyData Requirements
• Liaise with Auditors for annual statutory audit
• Prepare SOX Control documentation

What you need to have:

• BSc degree in Finance, Economics or related field
• 4-6 years working experience
• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Excellent Interpersonal skills - Business Acumen – Results and deadline oriented
• Fluency in English language
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Outstanding reporting and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting and tax framework.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance.
