Role Description:
We are seeking a full-time Road Freight Customer Service Specialist to act as a key point of contact between customers, transportation providers, and internal teams. In this role, you will support daily road freight operations, coordinate shipments, handle customer inquiries, and ensure high levels of service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in international road transportation and freight forwarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with transportation providers and logistics partners
- Support the sales team with customer requests and operational coordination
- Handle customer inquiries related to road freight and logistics services
- Coordinate shipments and monitor transportation progress
- Ensure timely and professional communication with customers and stakeholders
- Collaborate internally to ensure smooth shipment execution and issue resolution
- Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive support and problem-solving
- Handle operational challenges efficiently and professionally
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, specializing in cross-border trucking
- Experience with international FTL / LTL operations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent phone and interpersonal communication abilities
- Fluency in English (additional languages will be considered an advantage)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
