ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a dynamic Group in the Technology and IT Solutions sector, is seeking a Country Manager / Commercial Lead.


Country Manager / Commercial Lead (Ref. Code: /CMCL/ESS/GR)


Role Profile:

The Country Manager / Commercial Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and commercial performance in the Greek market, ensuring the effective execution of the company’s business strategy and operational excellence of the day-to-day business.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on commercial leadership, focusing on go-to-market strategy, sales performance, business development, and strategic partnerships.

Reporting to the Group Chief Commercial Officer, the successful candidate will be partnering with the CEO, CCO and the Group’s Senior Management, to provide and ensure proper delivery of the Commercial and Business Development strategy for the Greek market.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic and revenue growth of the company’s operations in Greece by developing and executing initiatives that drive business expansion and optimize market positioning.
  • Translate Group strategy into a clear local go-to-market plan, aligned with positioning as a leading IT Solutions provider.
  • Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective, working closely with the rest of the Senior Management Team.
  • Identify, develop, and nurture strategic partnerships, alliances, and key vendor relationships, actively engaging at executive level to unlock new commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer to provide accurate and timely reports outlining the Sales outlook for the company.
  • Represent the company in the market through participation in industry events, conferences, and executive forums, strengthening brand presence and business development.
  • Build and accomplish tangible business plans, financial targets and operational roadmaps.
  • Continuously monitor budgets, operational costs, KPIs, and overall financial performance, ensuring cost control, transparency, and profitability.
  • Take ownership of day-to-day operations and business performance, ensuring smooth operation of the local entity.
  • Ensure that the company adheres to its code on governance and that all operating activity is undertaken in an environment of integrity.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams with a strong commercial and customer-centric mindset, improve collaboration, and remove operational bottlenecks.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

  • More than 5 years of experience in a relevant position or other Senior Commercial leadership role within a Technology/ IT Services organization.
  • Strong experience in the Software industry (ERP, CRM, Cloud Solutions).
  • Solid understanding of the Greek landscape and a robust network of contacts within the Greek Private Sector.
  • Proven track record in revenue growth, business development, and profitability management.
  • University Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or any other relevant field.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially driven mindset, combined with strategic thinking.
  • Ability to inspire teams and remain hands-on when navigating a growing market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Greek).
