Currently Santorini Secret View Hotel are seeking to recruit:

Bartenders/Baristas

Position requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in similar position in a 5* or luxury/boutique hotel
• Degree in Hospitality/Tourism
• Relevant training certificate
• Excellent command of Greek and English language, additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills
• Guest friendly mentality (very important)
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Knowledge of hotel operation
• Wine connoisseurs will be consider as an asset
• Spirit knowledge
• Cocktail knowledge
• Coffee knowledge
• Teamwork spirit (very important)
• Well groomed with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Enthusiastic

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure a polite and warm welcome to all guests.
• Manage all departments' operation with the assistance of the F/B department
• Maintain at all times a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Ensure excellent response to guest requests & complaints / assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks in an enthusiastic manner.
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Prepare all beverages for breakfast.
• Keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
• Follow operational protocols.
• Build up full knowledge of hotel facilities & services.
• Present all menus.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Abide by affiliation standards.
