Field Service Engineer

Job Description

● Provide on-site pre-installation, installation, repair, maintenance and modification services for in-vitro diagnostics instruments

● Offer first-level technical support to customers over the phone or via teleservices, resolving issues quickly and optimally

● Collaborate with the Regional Customer Support Center in Germany, using your Greek and English language skills to ensure clear communication

● Advance complex technical or scientific issues to higher support levels when needed

● Train and collaborate with customers on instrument repair, handling and maintenance procedures

● Perform workshop-based repairs and maintenance and you ensure that all above activities are accurately documented in CRM software

● Handle service billing, follow up on service contracts and propose additional products like spare parts to customers

Candidate Profile

● BSc in Medical Instruments Technology, Electronic Engineering or a related field and have a strong understanding of computer hardware, networking and operating systems like Windows, Google Suite and MS Office

● Technical experience in diagnostics products, medical devices or laboratory automation systems is considered an advantage

● You are fluent in Greek with strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal

● You are passionate about staying up to date with technology trends, embrace a science-focus approach and sharing your knowledge with others

● You have excellent interpersonal and customer support skills, with a positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

● You are comfortable traveling within Greece and hold a valid driver's license, ready to support customers on-site when needed
