Lesante Blu is inspires by the lands of Zakynthos in its own right and invites guests to become immersed in the lush nature, inspiring traditions and authentic lifestyle of the finest Ionian Island.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes to the highest standards.
- Ensure freshness, quality, and consistency of all sushi ingredients and products.
- Maintain excellent food presentation, cleanliness, and organization at the sushi station.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new sushi menus and seasonal creations.
- Monitor inventory, ensure proper storage of fish and seafood, and minimize waste.
- Comply with hygiene, safety, and food handling regulations at all times.
Best candidate's profile:
- 2 years minimum experience as a Sushi Chef in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels.
- Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and Japanese culinary traditions.
- Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Creativity and ability to deliver visually appealing and flavorful dishes.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English.
