The software department of the Hellenic subsidiary of Mistras Group is currently recruiting for Backed Web Developers for current and future international projects in the area of On-Line Monitoring of critical infrastructure  (https://www.mistrasgroup.com/data-solutions/asset-condition-monitoring-and-analysis/). 

Summary

We are looking for a motivated, talented, and highly productive mid/senior backend web developer to join our team of successful professionals at the company offices in Metamorfosi, Athens, Greece.

The ideal candidate will participate in the implementation of some of the largest and most notable web projects and solutions for the Oil & Gas, Energy and Civil industries. The candidate must be able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment while utilizing the best web technologies to achieve robust and state of the art results.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of C# language facilities
• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL
• Knowledge of .NET Core and Entity Framework Core
• Proficiency in Development and delivery experience with ASP.net WebAPI and MVC
• Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git
• Experience using TDD and creating automated unit tests.
• Have participated in developing large, custom-built, object-oriented applications.
• Ability to work in a variety of client settings and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in both Greek and English.
• Minimum 3-5 years of development experience in aforementioned technologies is required for this position.

Will be considered as a plus

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or in another related field.
• Microsoft Azure or related cloud experience
• Experience with HTML, jQuery, Bootstrap principles and usage
• To be self-motivated and curious to learn new things and to always catch up on state-of-the-art web technologies.
