Position: Head Waiter/Waitress
SOLEIL HOSPITALITY GROUP LTD is seeking
dedicated professionals for year-round or seasonal employment in the position
of Head Waiter/Waitress.
Responsibilities:
Communicate
with the Managers regarding the daily menu or any menu changes.
Have
a deep understanding of the restaurant menu and beverage list, including
wines and spirits.
Organize
the workstation and coordinate with other waiters to ensure efficient
supervision of the dining area.
Collaborate
with assistant waiters to assign tasks and maintain smooth operations.
Greet
and welcome customers warmly and professionally.
Provide
detailed information about the menu, make recommendations, and suggest
food and beverage pairings in a friendly and non-pushy manner.
Work
closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery and
preparation.
Communicate
effectively with customers to provide exceptional service and address any
needs or concerns.
Handle
payments for assigned tables and ensure accuracy of transactions.
Perform
end-of-shift duties, including table organization and preparation for the
next service.
Notify
the supervisor of any shortages or supply needs for prompt replenishment.
Qualifications:
Previous
experience in a similar role.
Proficiency
in English (additional languages are a plus).
Polite
and friendly demeanor.
Strong
customer service orientation.
Ability
to work under pressure.
Well-groomed
and presentable appearance.
Reliability
and professionalism.
Excellent
communication skills.
Team
