Position Overview

As Housekeeping Manager, you will lead and oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort throughout the hotel. You will manage and inspire the housekeeping team, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure that all rooms and public areas reflect the refined boutique luxury character of Darya-J.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms and public areas
  • Ensure rooms meet luxury cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping team members
  • Prepare weekly staff schedules based on occupancy forecasts
  • Conduct daily inspections of rooms and public areas
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Manage housekeeping inventory, linen control, and supplier orders
  • Monitor departmental budget and control operational costs
  • Coordinate room status updates closely with Front Office
  • Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Maintain maintenance reports and coordinate with Engineering when needed
  • Recruit, interview, and evaluate housekeeping staff

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial housekeeping role in 4* or 5* hotels
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and luxury service standards
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and hygiene standards
  • Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and cost management
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Fluency in English (additional languages will be considered an asset)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management systems
