Role Description
The Civil Engineer will work on a contract basis in a hybrid arrangement, primarily located in the Thessaloniki Metropolitan Area or /and Chalkidiki. The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, reviewing project specifications, ensuring compliance with local codes and standards, and assisting with permitting documentation. The Civil Engineer will also contribute to project planning, cost estimation, risk identification, and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and experience applying civil engineering principles in practical projects.
- Experience with Planning activities, including project scheduling, resource coordination, and basic cost estimation.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools).
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, apply local building codes, and prepare clear reports and calculations.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Greek language skills are beneficial for local coordination.
