About Us: Diaplous is a
top-tier Private Maritime Security Company (PMSC). We don't just secure ships;
we manage complex global operations. We are looking for a sharp, analytical
mind to join our team and help us solve the daily puzzle of deploying security
teams across the world's oceans.
The Role: We are looking for a highly
organized and analytical Crew Coordinator to join our dynamic HR &
Operations team. This is not a typical crewing role; you will be at the heart
of our logistics, managing complex rotations of security teams while working
closely with our Commercial department to ensure cost-efficiency. You will
treat every deployment as a project that needs to be solved with maximum
efficiency and minimum cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deployment Management: Plan, track, and execute the deployment of Security Guards for transits in High-Risk Areas.
- Commercial & Costing: Collaborate closely with the Sales department to assess best options for clients, assisting in the costing of RFQs and identifying ways to minimize operational expenses.
- Compliance: Ensure all deployed personnel strictly comply with Flag State requirements, industry codes, and internal procedures before embarkation.
- Resource Balancing: Monitor asset availability by location to address demand-supply imbalances efficiently, ensuring no disruption to client services.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for security personnel regarding their schedules and deployment requests.
- Reporting: Generate detailed reports on resource allocation and department KPIs for management review.
Requirements
- Education: We value the way you think over the specific title of your degree. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Business Analytics.
- Experience: 0-3 years. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. We are looking for potential, not a long CV.
- Personality: Eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to be molded into a top-tier maritime professional.
- Operational Schedule: Standard office hours, combined with rotational standby duties to manage time-sensitive deployments and global time zones.
- Language: Fluent English (Written & Spoken) is mandatory.
Skills:
- Analytical Thinking: You are comfortable with numbers, costs, and data.
- Problem Solving: You stay calm when plans change and immediately look for Plan B.
- Tech Savvy: Strong command of Excel and comfort with learning new software.
- Financial awareness: Ability to understand cost implications of logistical decisions.
Why Join Us?
- Mentorship: You will be trained by experienced professionals who will teach you the industry from the ground up.
- Impact: Your decisions will directly affect the company’s efficiency and profitability.
- Growth: A clear career path in a high-stakes, international environment.
