As a Field Service Engineer your responsibilities will be:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on mechanical and hydraulic aeronautical tooling and GSE
- Execute functional and load tests to ensure all equipment meets strict technical and safety standards
- Develop autonomous diagnostic methods and repair solutions for complex or non-standard technical issues
- Manage the dismantling, reassembly, and precision calibration of equipment, including final quality control
- Conduct on-site technical interventions and service at customer facilities (Airlines, MROs, OEMs)
- Coordinate technicians and procurement to plan, organize, and execute service projects efficiently
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, managing relationships and ensuring clear communication
- Generate detailed technical quotations, analyze project resources/budgets, and negotiate terms with clients
- Support growth by identifying new opportunities, participating in tenders, and conducting customer prospecting visits
- Maintain ERP records, workshop documentation, and ensure strict compliance with safety and storage protocols
