Aether Engineering is an engineering and consulting company active in the development and management of renewable energy projects. Our team supports the planning, permitting, engineering, and operational management of energy infrastructure, including wind and photovoltaic projects and high-voltage electrical substations.
We are seeking a motivated entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the development of renewable energy projects and the asset management of high-voltage electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support engineering teams in:
- Assisting in the technical development of renewable energy projects (wind and solar)
- Supporting design review and technical documentation for electrical infrastructure
- Assisting in the management and monitoring of high-voltage substations and electrical assets
- Reviewing electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications
- Supporting grid connection studies and technical submissions to grid operators
- Assisting in project documentation, reporting, and data management
- Coordinating with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders
- Supporting troubleshooting and technical evaluations of electrical systems when required
Qualifications
- University degree (Diploma) in Electrical Engineering
- Strong interest in renewable energy and power systems
- Basic knowledge of high-voltage systems, substations, and grid infrastructure
- Familiarity with electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Understanding of power system studies or grid connection procedures
- Familiarity with SCADA systems or electrical asset management
- Knowledge of renewable energy project development
