Shizen is an intimate Japanese-inspired restaurant focused on sushi craftsmanship, precision, and respect for ingredients. We are seeking a Sushi Chef to ensure the highest standards of sushi preparation, presentation, and service consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute sushi, sashimi, nigiri, maki, and Japanese cold dishes
- Ensure excellent fish handling, cutting techniques, and rice preparation
- Maintain high standards of presentation, portioning, and taste
- Manage mise en place and maintain an immaculate sushi counter
- Follow strict HACCP and food safety standards for raw products
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Service team
- Deliver calm, professional guest interaction during counter service
