Junior Accountant

On behalf of our client, an established, leading enterprise operating within the international energy sector, we are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their finance team.   

As a Junior Accountant your main duties will include:

• Processing daily accounting transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Supporting the daily and monthly reconciliation of General Ledger, Vendor, and Customer balances.
• Assisting with general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including Accounts Payable (AP),
• Accounts Receivable (AR), inventory, and capital assets.
• Participating in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Ensuring strict adherence to internal policies, procedures, and financial regulations.       

The ideal candidate possesses: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems and strong data-handling capabilities.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English (written and verbal) is essential for this role.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to summarize large amounts of data.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working within an international environment alongside diverse, cross-border teams.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience
