Technical Sales Support / Pre-Sales Engineer

This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong technical background in geospatial technologies, GIS/WebGIS and Earth Observation, who will act as a technical advisor supporting sales activities rather than a purely commercial sales role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Technical Sales Support / Pre-Sales Engineer will play an active role in pre-sales activities and technical sales support, including:

  • Analyzing customer needs and translating business and technical requirements into geospatial solutions
  • Providing technical support to the sales team for GIS, WebGIS, Remote Sensing and Earth Observation data solutions
  • Participating in the preparation of technical proposals, offers and tender documentation
  • Communicating with customers to gather requirements, propose solutions and provide technical guidance
  • Monitoring market trends in geospatial and EO technologies and sharing insights with internal teams
  • Participating in technical presentations, product demonstrations and workshops
  • Collaborating with technology vendors and technical partners
  • Reporting market feedback, emerging customer needs and innovative ideas
  • Occasional travel within Greece and Cyprus for technical meetings, demonstrations or workshops

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in a relevant field such as Geoinformatics, Surveying, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Very good command of the English language (written and spoken)
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a B2B environment (e.g. pre-sales, technical sales support, project or solution support)
  • Military Service: Candidate must have completed mandatory military service, if applicable

Desired Technical Background

  • Experience with GIS and WebGIS platforms
  • Knowledge of Remote Sensing and Earth Observation data
  • Understanding of geospatial data analysis and workflows
  • Familiarity with data-driven and digital solutions
  • Experience in writing technical proposals or participating in tender preparation will be considered a strong asset
