ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a leading multinational dairy company, is looking for a driven professional for the position of Foodservice Business Development Manager. This role is based in Athens.


Foodservice Business Development Manager (6136/FBDM/ESS/GR)

Role Overview:

The Foodservice Business Development Manager will support the Foodservice Sales Manager in driving business growth by generating leads to attracting new customers and identifying new business opportunities. The role focuses on building partnerships and expanding beyond existing sales through strategic alliances and new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement, in collaboration with the Foodservice Sales Manager, business plans for key customers to achieve volume and revenue targets in line with the company’s strategic plan.
  • Identify, evaluate product opportunities and develop relevant commercial proposals.
  • Identify new customers and further develop business opportunities within existing customers.
  • Actively monitor FS market trends and insights to remain market-relevant and competitive.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Work closely with internal teams as well as external stakeholders.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze sales data, forecast and report on progress to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, food expos and trade shows to build a network and enhance visibility.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar commercial or business development role.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a strong results-oriented approach.
  • Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of customer- and market-level execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence, engage and align multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
