Gundari Luxury Resort is currently seeking to recruit a professional for the position of Financial Accountant.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant.to oversee the financial operations of our hotel. During the hotel’s operational period, the role will be based in Folegandros, while during the off-season, the position will be remotely.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective financial control to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and financial operations of the hotel
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
- Cost Control
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards
- Supervise payroll and accounts payable & accounts receivable
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and advisors
- Implement and maintain internal controls and financial procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of hotel accounting practices and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
