The CFD analyst in this company you will:

• Perform CFD simulations using the available CFD tools to analyze fluid flow and turbulence phenomena on specific vessesls. 
• Conduct hydrodynamic performance studies for ship hulls and propulsion systems. 
• Simulate compressible and incompressible flows in piping networks and fluid systems.
• Prepare tailored engineering studies for specific vessel designs to ensure optimum product integration and installation.
• Develop and validate CFD models based on theoretical principles and available data.
• Analyze results and prepare clear technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design and project engineering teams to integrate CFD insights into product development and installation plans.
• Maintain and improve simulation workflows and best practices.

To be a good fit for the CFD analyst position you will need to have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong foundation in fluid mechanics and turbulence modeling.
• Working knowledge of CFD tools, preferably STAR-CCM+, familiarity with ANSYS Fluent is a plus.
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex simulation results effectively.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with marine propulsion systems, cavitation modeling, or freesurface flows. 
• Knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Rhino) for geometry preparation.
• Familiarity with marine industry regulatory standards (e.g., IMO,IACS, etc.)
• Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and post-processing.
• Understanding system-level modeling and integration with other simulation domains (e.g., FEA, control systems).
• Project management or cross-functional collaboration experience.
