company in the Greek gaming and luxury hospitality industry, is seeking a qualified candidate
to cover the following open position at Regency Casino Thessaloniki:
Gaming Data Analyst
The Gaming Data
Analyst will be supporting Gaming Operations by reviewing performance,
producing accurate reporting and offering clear, data-driven recommendations.
Main Responsibilities
- Collect, interpret and
visualize data across different data sources, with the aim to propose
actionable and meaningful insights for supporting
strategic decisions in gaming operations.
- Identify areas of
improvement across all reporting stages, by setting up and maintaining automation
techniques to improve reporting efficiency.
- Create relative
reports/dashboards displaying gaming performance and key KPIs for operations
and top management.
- Monitor daily performance of
gaming by identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the gaming
teams to recommend game configuration changes, floor layout adjustments or relative
interventions.
- Validate data quality by reviewing
gaming data sources.
- Obtain in depth understanding
of data to maintain, develop and monitor KPIs that improve the gaming
performance.
- Develop presentations with
data insights that relate to both technical or/and gaming insights.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science,
Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics,
Information Technology, Economics or related discipline.
- Master's degree in a related field
will be considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is a
pre-requisite.
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year prior
experience in business/gaming data analysis will be considered a plus.
Competencies (skills, knowledge, abilities)
- Knowledge in
at least one of the Business intelligence tools (e.g. Microsoft BI tools,
Tableau, QlikView) will be considered as a plus.
- Strong data
visualization skills (dashboards, reports).
- Proficiency in Excel (Pivots,
VBA) & Power Point is essential.
- Database
Management Skills (understanding of SQL) will be considered a plus.
