Senior Accounting Executive

About the company and the role. 

Our client is a multinational commercial company, with regional headquarters in Thessaloniki.

We're looking for a Senior Accounting Executive to support the Finance Controller – based in another European entity - with day-to-day accounting, statutory reporting, and audits.

What you will do:

• Support the Finance Controller in the day-to-day accounting and controlling work, focusing on international subsidiaries and partially supporting the Greek entity.
• Contribute in the preparation annual financial statements in line with Greek and International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Handle statutory reporting and regulatory filings on time.
• Run financial and profitability analysis, and support group consolidation and inter-company reconciliations.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, including KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Work closely with tax advisors, auditors, and finance colleagues to assure compliance.

Requirements & Skills

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, ideally in a multinational company.
• Comfortable preparing financial statements, ideally in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.
• Familiarity with cost accounting.
• Good working knowledge of accounting standards, advanced Excel, and ERP systems (SAP knowledge will be considered a strong plus).
• Fluent in English (official company language). 

Additional Information

• Gross monthly salary between 2.300 and 2.800 Euro, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
