Room Service Waiter/Waitress

Job Summary

The Room Service Attendant is responsible for delivering food and beverages to guest rooms in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. This role ensures high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while representing the hotel’s brand and hospitality values.

Key Responsibilities

• Take room service orders accurately via phone or in person
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms in a timely manner
• Set up trays or tables according to hotel standards
• Present and explain menu items when required
• Ensure accuracy of orders and special guest requests
• Collect trays, dishes, and equipment after service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas and equipment
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues politely and efficiently
• Process bills, obtain signatures, or handle payments when required
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality at all times

• Previous experience in hospitality or food & beverage service preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift trays and push service carts
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
