.NET / C# Developer

Xcelsus Hellas is an IT service company based in Thessaloniki, part of the Xcelsus Group with customers across different industries — primarily in the German-speaking market. We are growing and looking for an experienced .NET / C# Developer who can work in international environments and support our customers in exciting projects.

The Team

You will work in small agile teams to develop new as well as to expand already established business applications. Collaboration, communication, and ownership are key elements of our teams.

The Role

As an application developer at our young, up-and-coming company, you will support our primarily German-speaking customers in the implementation of exciting projects and requirements. In doing so, you will be an important part of the customer team — both in consulting and in the actual implementation.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• Business fluent German (C1/C2)
• Professional level in Greek or English
• At least 5 years of experience with C#
• Strong experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework
• Experience working with Microservices Architecture
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Experience with Azure and AWS
• Experience with MS-SQL and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Jira or Confluence

The knowledge of the below is appreciated:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with Camunda (BPM / workflow engine)
• Experience with Windows Server
• Experience with MongoDB
• Basic frontend skills (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap)
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with Angular or jQuery
• Experience with testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit
• Experience with SignalR

As we work primarily with German-speaking clients, a big part of the interview will be conducted in German.
