Head of IT Retail

ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client, one of the leading group of companies operating in the Oil & Gas Sector, is seeking for a Head if IT Retail to join their team. 

Head of IT Retail (6178/HIR/ESS/GR) 

Main Responsibilities: 

• Ensures the smooth and effective IT service delivery across all retail stores (fuel stations, convenience stores, pharmacies, car wash sites, energy stores) in multiple countries 
• Designs, plans, implements and monitors IT projects and digital solutions for the retail network, ensuring quality and efficiency 
• Monitors and manages core retail systems (POS, ERP, payment systems), ensuring their seamless operation 
• Plans and monitors the IT Retail budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources 
• Ensures compliance with fiscal and legal requirements, in cooperation with internal departments and authorities 
• Evaluates existing business processes and proposes digital improvements to enhance productivity and customer experience 
• Analyzes and proposes procurement of hardware, software and IT services based on business needs 
• Manages external vendors and monitors SLAs, ensuring effective service delivery and issue resolution 
• Stays up to date with digital trends and technologies in the retail sector 
• Supervises team members, sets objectives and evaluates performance 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or any other related field 
• Master’s degree in a relevant field will be considered an asset 
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant IT role 
• Good knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure and technology management 
• Experience in retail or multi-site environments will be considered an asset 
• Experience in IT project and vendor management 
• Excellent command of Greek and English language (both verbal and written) 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
• Leadership and organizational skills 
• Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail
