We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Installation Technician to join our Internal Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying state-of-the-art Hikvision security systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and technical excellence across the company’s facilities.
What you'll actually do
- Physical installation of IP and analog CCTV cameras, including mounting brackets and secure positioning
- Laying and managing cable infrastructure (UTP, coaxial, and power cabling)
- Configuring IP addresses, initializing devices, and setting up NVR/DVR systems
- Using Hikvision tools such as SADP Tool and Batch Configuration Tool for device setup
- Setting up remote access via Hik-Connect and Hik-Partner platforms
- Integrating surveillance systems with management software such as iVMS-4200 or Hik-Central
- Installing and configuring access control systems, including facial recognition terminals and door controllers
- Installing door hardware components (electronic locks, break glass units, exit buttons, etc.)
- Installing and configuring burglar alarm systems, including sensors and control panels
- Performing routine system health checks and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshooting connectivity and system faults, and carrying out on-site repairs
- Providing end-user training and orientation on system usage and mobile application management
- Maintaining installation documentation and reporting completed work in accordance with company standards
- Supporting security infrastructure projects and upgrades across multiple company locations
