EU R&D Project & Proposal Manager

At LIONCODE, we are driving innovation through cutting-edge EU-funded R&D projects. We are looking for a highly motivated EU R&D Project & Proposal Manager to lead the management of European research programmes, while also playing a key role in building strategic consortia.

This is a unique opportunity to combine technical project leadership with partner engagement, in a collaborative and international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Manage and monitor EU-funded projects, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

• Act as the technical liaison between coordinators/customers and internal technical teams.

• Develop operational project plans, track activities, and proactively address risks or issues.

• Prepare, review, and deliver high-quality project reports and EU deliverables.

• Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with international partners; form and manage consortia for new proposals.

• Support the continuous improvement of internal project management methodologies and knowledge sharing.

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in EU-funded R&D projects.

• Strong track record in proposal writing and EU funding programmes (Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, etc.).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural and distributed teams.

• Willingness to travel across Europe for project meetings and events.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable, with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

• Full-time/Part-time position based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
