Financial Manager

Job description
We are currently seeking for an experienced Financial Manager for the company’s main premises in Thessaloniki, to undertake the following responsibilities:

• Overall financial management of the companies in Greece and Cyprus, including preparation of financial reports, cashflow estimations, profitability forecasts, in cooperation with the company accountants.
• Financial management, including planning, monitoring and reporting, for research and innovation funded projects (mainly European Union Horizon 2020, Erasmus+ and national funds) in cooperation with the relevant project managers.
• Contract management (public tenders, personnel and external parties)

Requirements:
Mandatory

• Education level: University degree in Economics (e.g, Accounting and Finance)
• More than three (3) years proven experience in similar position in any of the above responsibilities
• Language skills (excellent command of English, both verbal and written, is necessary).
• Excellent knowledge of MS-EXCEL
• Ability to travel

Soft-skills

• Multi-tasking abilities (e.g. ability to work, in parallel, on different tasks and domains within specific deadlines).
• Ability to manage time and produce results on time, according to strict standards.
• Ability to work in a team, capacity to work autonomously, initiative spirit.
• International experience and ambition (e.g. willingness to co-operate with multi-national teams and availability to travel abroad).
  

Optional:

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, management or equivalent;
• Knowledge of EU funding programmes
