About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail- oriented Accounting Associate to join our team in Athens. In this vital role, you will support the management of a diverse client portfolio, ensuring all financial activities align with Greek accounting standards and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the delivery of high-quality Accounting and Tax services for a diverse range of corporate clients.
• Working collaboratively with a team to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional client service.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulations.
• Responding to client inquiries promptly and professionally to help build long-term, trusted relationships.
• Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with audit teams.
• Identifying ways to streamline day-to-day tasks to improve overall financial accuracy and workflow.
• Upholding the highest standards of business ethics in all professional interactions.
• Managing your daily workload effectively to ensure all assigned tasks are completed thoroughly and on time.

Requirements:

What you bring:

We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment to excellence and has the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience, preferably within an accounting firm.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Required: Class B Accountant License (Άδεια Λογιστή Β’ Τάξης).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Epsilon Net is an advantage.
• Expertise: Experience drafting VAT returns, Corporate Income Tax returns, and Financial Statements.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Greek and English (written and verbal).
