As an accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Manage day to day bookkeeping records
• Posting of Invoices 
• Maintenance, monitoring, and auditing of double-entry books 
• Ensuring timely and accurate accounting reconciliations for monthly and annual reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing process
• Participation in the preparation of various tax filings (Income Tax, VAT, VIES, Intrastat, Contracts,
• Withholding Taxes) and submission of these in compliance with legislation
• Preparation of reports and analyses as required
• Assistance with the annual statutory and tax audits

The ideal candidate for this accountant position should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Business or a closely related field
• 3-5 years experience  
• Resourceful, independent and strong problem-solving abilities
• My Data experience
• Greek Gap and IFRS
• Excellent written and communication skills, with strong ability to plan ahead and organize themselves
• Analytical structured mind set with ability to follow and build upon existing processes and ensure data is maintained with accuracy and consistency
