BEACH SERVICES ATTENDANT

Responsibilities
- Set up umbrellas, loungers, and other beach furniture. Ensure that the beach furniture and area are clean and safe.
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Handle guest complaints and report them to the supervisor
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Follow all relevant health & safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Clear used towels and trash
- Report any damages or incidences to the supervisor
Requirements
- High school Diploma or above. Degree in Hospitality will be considered an asset
- At least 1 year working experience in a similar position, preferably in a 4* or 5* hotel
- Good knowledge and use of Greek and English both written and verbal (A second foreign language will be considered an asset)
- Knowledge of POS/PDA ordering software (HIT WebPos preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Customer-focused attitude with an approachable and friendly demeanor
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor, including a neat and well-groomed appearance and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Knowledge of beach safety and procedures
