Vessel's Technical Officer

MMC Group Holding, a private holding company, established in 2009 currently is seeking for a dynamic professional to cover the position of Vessel’s Technical Officer in its offices based on Piraeus Greece.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Follow up ROs
• Follow up scope of surveys.    
• Evaluation and issuance of exemptions & waivers & attestation letters & equivalents based on the specific conditions provided for by the relevant IMO & ILO conventions, and verification of technical evidence required for the above requests.
• Communicate with clients regarding the technical issues related to the flag registration process and status.
• Ensure compliance and conform with the flag registration procedures.
• Execute weekly and monthly reporting.
• Perform any other tasks requested by the Head of the Department.

Τo be considered for this position you need to have:

• Three year experience in shipping with flagging and classification background.  
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Greek  (Any additional language will be an asset).
• Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• University degree (preferably in shipping)
