to be part of our team at our luxurious 5* boutique hotel in Oia, Santorini for the 2026 season.
Job Summary:
The Houseman supports the Housekeeping Department by maintaining cleanliness and order in public areas, guest floors, and service spaces. This role assists room attendants, ensures the efficient delivery of linens and supplies, and helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests in line with 5-star hotel standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, guest corridors, service areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Assist housekeeping attendants with linen delivery, collection, and replenishment of supplies.
- Remove trash and soiled linen from guest floors and housekeeping areas.
- Ensure pantries are well stocked with linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Respond promptly to guest requests such as extra towels, pillows, or amenities.
- Support room attendants during room cleaning and turn-down service when required.
- Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure proper use, care, and storage of housekeeping equipment and materials.
- Follow hotel standards, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Provide courteous and discreet service to guests, maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
Main Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a similar role in a luxury or 5-star hotel (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and carry housekeeping equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and hotel standards.
- Basic communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Professional appearance and good personal hygiene.
