About the role:

We are looking for a sharp, detail- oriented Senior Accounting Associate to join our team in Athens. In this crucial role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of client accounts, ensuring everything is compliant with accounting standards and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Delivering professional Accounting and Tax services to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
• Working collaboratively with a team to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional client service.
• Building strong client relationships as a trusted advisor, addressing their financial needs proactively.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulations.
• Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with audit teams.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
• Upholding the highest standards of business ethics in all professional interactions.
• Ensuring timely and thorough completion of all assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements:

What you bring:

We are looking for a candidate who shares our commitment to excellence and has the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of four (4) years of accounting experience, preferably within an accounting firm.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Required: Class B Accountant License (Άδεια Λογιστή Β’ Τάξης). Class A certification is a plus and will make your application stand out.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Epsilon Net is an advantage.
• Expertise: Experience drafting VAT returns, Corporate Income Tax returns, and Financial Statements.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Greek and English (written and verbal).
