HSE Chemical Engineer

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading Greek organization in the Petroleum sector, is seeking an HSE Chemical Engineer for its Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability & Quality Department.

📌 Location: Marousi

🖋️Report to: HSE Manager

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the implementation program and evaluate fuel quality control results, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and assess chemical analyses of fuels to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance; record and investigate quality-related incidents.
• Represent the company (as Independent Chemist) before the General Chemical State Laboratory and collaborate with the Legal Services Department on matters concerning fuel quality.
• Provide technical support to industrial customers regarding product quality, specifications, and applications.
• Collaborate with internal departments to implement best practices in Fuel Quality Management.
• Support internal and external audits related to fuel quality and safety.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering (Polytechnic School)
• 2–4 years of experience (fuel quality control monitoring, chemical analyses, technical support to industrial clients)
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation and fuel specifications
• Strong data analysis and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
• Good command of the English language
• Professional license to practice (registered with the Technical Chamber of Greece – TEE)
