Industrial Automation & Field Support Technician

A leading company in the field of pneumatic systems and industrial automation is seeking an experienced professional to strengthen its technical support and installation team.

As an Industrial Automation & Field Support Technician your main responsibilities will be:

• Technical support and troubleshooting of pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, and automation systems at client facilities.
• Commissioning of new systems and supervision of proper equipment installation.
• Design and assembly of automation panels and special fixtures in the company's workshop.
• Proposing upgrades (Retrofitting) for existing production lines to improve efficiency and energy savings.
• Communication with clients' technical departments to resolve complex technical issues.

The ideal candidate for the position of Industrial Automation & Field Support Technician will have: 

• A degree with a specialization in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
• Proven experience of over 2 years in an industrial environment (installations or maintenance).
• Very good knowledge of pneumatic systems and the ability to read mechanical/pneumatic drawings.
• Familiarity with PLC programming.
• Good knowledge of English for studying technical manuals.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel (within Greece) for project needs.
• A problem-solving mindset and a customer-centric approach.
