A prestigious 5 star hotel in Paphos is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead and manage the Housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction.
This is a senior leadership role ideal for a hospitality professional with strong operational and team management experience within luxury hotel environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Housekeeping operations, ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms, public areas, offices, and back-of-house spaces.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations.
- Recruit, interview, train, and onboard housekeeping staff, maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
- Prepare and manage weekly schedules, duty rosters, and staff timetables according to operational needs and labour budgets.
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members through performance evaluations and training initiatives.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Provide outstanding guest service, handling requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, and inventory control, ensuring cost efficiency and minimal waste.
- Coordinate closely with the Engineering department to report and follow up on maintenance issues.
- Ensure team members comply with grooming, uniform, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain strong communication and collaboration with all hotel departments.
- Handle administrative duties, reporting, documentation, and participation in operational meetings.
