We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies, technical standards, and project requirements.
Job Description
- Invoice Review: Review OA reimbursement processes to ensure compliance with the company’s financial management policies, Greek tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Accounting Document Management: Collect, organize, and forward accounting documents to the external accounting firm.
- Accounting Verification: Obtain Journal Ledger and Trial Balance details monthly from the accounting firm and verify their accuracy.
- Accounts Receivable Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable with customers quarterly to confirm accuracy.
- Accounts Receivable Collection: Record customer payments and communicate with customers to arrange payment plans for overdue accounts.
- Tax Declaration Review: Review quarterly VAT, withholding tax (if applicable), and annual corporate income tax declarations; initiate and process related tax payments.
- Audit Coordination: Communicate with independent auditors, provide required information, and respond to audit queries.
- Banking Operations: Manage issuance and release of guarantees, bank account openings/closures, and credit facilities.
- Local Invoicing: Issue local invoices and review invoice data on the company’s invoicing platform.
- Other Duties: Undertake tasks assigned by supervisors, handle ad hoc matters, and support the finance team as needed.
